In HELP Dancesport Club, you don't just get to learn Latin dances. We also get chances to compete in states. Once, we've even performed in a Dato's personal event which was truly an eye-opening experience. The coaches here provides professional latin coaching that ensures students learn in the safest, most comfortable way in a positive environment, allowing students to enjoy dancing throughout the class. ☺️

I've always been fascinated with Latin Dancesport, whether it's samba, chacha, or rumba. I started developing the interest to join the club one day when I walk passed the studio, seeing Dudu & Lam practicing for a performance - how they swayed with ease with powerful yet graceful moves. So, yes I joined!
I look forward to practice every week, I had the most fun. Not just because dancing has always been my passion but because it was such a fun, sporty experience - not to mention i get to burn some calories. Trust me, it BURNS your calories. I danced Jive one time for like 1 min, my sweat was as if I've jogged for 15 mins! My instructors are great; patient & very professional. I feel so refreshed after class every time & would secretly practice my moves once I got home, in front of the bathroom mirror. Overall, I enjoyed being a part of the club very very much.

The class and training sessions are amazing; taught and led by a great dancing instructor, who is not just talented but gifted in his dancing skills. With his skills and teaching ability, it is no doubt that many students like myself are astounded and make the students want to learn more about dancing and to follow his examples. Along with an extraordinary president of the club; a dynamic duo which work together in a harmonious way that become a good example to other dancers as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the HELP Dancesport Club, and I still look upon it as one my fondest memories from university. I remember we were slated to perform for the 2017 Business Ball and prepared for several weeks under the tutoring of our instructors of professional calibre. I also consider ourselves lucky because at the time our club President was Dudu Lim, a seasoned veteran of the sport and dance partner of our instructor Mr. Lam. The duo had performed together in multiple events in times past, and thus were complementary to each other in their teachings. They guided each of us attentively and patiently, ensuring we understood how our bodies needed to move with the music. And before long, we found ourselves dancing together in sync- we learned that dance was not complicated, it is just a matter of following the beat.
I also made plenty of dear memories and new friends, some of whom I keep in touch today. Everyone was there to learn and help each other get their moves right; and that’s what I loved the most about my time there- it’s that dance was a skill that could be learned by anyone patient enough to pay attention to the tempo of music and move their body accordingly. Anyone can dance, they just need the right guidance, and I found mine in this club.
